New York, New York

When I think of photography I think of NY. So many talented people have their home in New York like Lindsay Adler whom I have featured in one of my earlier blogs. I would love, love, love to go to NY and take pictures of just about anything. There are so many unlimited possibilities. I do however want to see NY in winter before Christmas, hopefully with a lot of snow. Central park, big buildings, breakfast at Tiffanys, the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.. black and white pictures during the day.. I have it all mapped out in my head.

As a photographer I think New York is a good place to visit, not only for the variety of pictures that can be taken there, but also to meet other very talented photographers and to enhance your portfolio of course. Go to a convention, make connections, learn, discuss and take it all in. Ask lots of questions and discover the jungle of a big city. Find special places that are not tourist attractions. Find your own New York. I have never been. I will go one day and again when I have all the camera equipment I want. It is a goal.

I want to write so much more about NY but I have never been there, I only have my dreams. So this is my first short blog about it. My first stepping stone in getting to my goal of taking pictures in New York. For now, I found this awesome time-lapse video titled the Manhattan Project. Watch it!

What is your dream place? Where do you want to take pictures? Let me know!
