Today will be short and to the point:
Christmas countdown has begun. I am a day late and yes, yes as always a dollar short :D. I’ll talk about Christmas traditions, pictures, recipes and the like in the upcoming weeks and share our own traditions and will invite you to share yours. If you have a unique or cultural tradition you would like to share, let me know and I will absolutely feature it! I will share recipes for the family get together, cute ideas to do with the kids, maybe I will even share one of my favorite recipes for cookies handed down from my grandma.. I don’t know yet. I will have to see how much participation I get. 😀
I hope you have a wonderful first weekend in the journey to Christmas 😀
Hug the ones you love and tell them you do!
traditionally my dad picks out the christmas tree weeks ahead and then gets it one day before christmas eve. i’m sure you remember going with him through kneedeep snow freezing your little red nose off having our neufi following you all 🙂
Yep, I sure do. I would still go if I was in Germany!
For Thanksgiving and Christmas, my Italian father always made the traditional holiday food of meatballs!
Oh that’s awesome! I never thought of meatballs on christmas 😀
